All properties have seen major improvements in recent years. We have this year completed painting of the sanctuary building and replacing the electrical system. Some major projects in the last few years include:

  • Metal roofing for the Sanctuary and Fellowship hall.
  • Handicap ramp.
  • Repair of stained glass windows. This included replacement of the window casings which had become discolored over the years. warped over time. This was a major project that involved a fund raiser. For details,  click here.
  • Painting of the church building.
  • replacement of doors.
  • replace electrical service.
  • remodeling of Fellowship Hall including window shades, heating and a/c units and pastor's study.
  • archway entrance for cemetery.
  • planting live oaks and crepe myrtles in cemetery.

The church was built in 1905, replacing the wooden church located near the cemetery. Members over the years have been diligent in maintenance and care and we continue to feel blessed to have our church to look after. We have received many favorable comments from visitors and encourage any suggestions and ideas. Next on the drawing board is an electronic sign to replace the current sign out front.
